Understanding the Hospice Care in Our Community
Understanding the Hospice Care in Our Community
As professionals involved in Estate Planning, understanding what Hospice is, the services offered and what insurance / Medicare / Medicaid covers (and doesn’t cover) is critical. Please join us as we present a panel with representatives from all 5 local Hospice Care Providers.
Attorney Scott Selis, President of the Estate Planning Council of the Fun Coast, will be our moderator. We will have speakers from:
- Florida Hospital Hospice Care
- Haven Hospice
- Gentiva Hospice
- Halifax Health Hospice
- VITAS Healthcare
We will start with a brief summary of what Hospice is:
- When would a client qualify for Hospice
- What basic services are provided by all Hospice care centers
- How the referral systems work with Hospice – prior to and after enrolled in Hospice
We will then have each panelist give a brief summary of the services/ programs they offer above and beyond the standard level of care. How they work with families/ patients.
This is a forum for both professionals and the general public. We invite all guests who RSVP to submit questions that will be asked to each panel member. If time permits there will also be a question & answer session.
Cost: $20.00 payable at the door. Please note that persons making reservations and not canceling by noon, Monday June 22nd, will be invoiced by the EPCFC for the program cost.
Guests are always Welcome! You need not be a Member.
Reservations: Please reserve now with Kimberly Selis by phone at 386-445-8900, ext 22, or by email at KSelis@PalmCoastLaw.com
